ipanema

Ipanema has been popularized by the song “A Girl From Ipanema” in the 60’s. It has been on the lips of beach lovers ever since then and it has been proven by the millions of tourists coming over the small region.

Ipanema is considered a busy, not to mention much more expensive than its neighboring beaches, region of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. High class restaurants, hotels and shopping stores have permeated the region and this has been beneficial for those who wish to enjoy the comfort of high living in the most loved beach in Rio de Janeiro.

Enjoy Ipanema!

manly

If you are an IT (Information Technology) person and wish to work in an IT company while living beside/near the beach, then Manly in New South Wales is the place to be. Today there are approximately 11,000 job listings for IT specialists in the said area.

Manly, a part of the Northern Beaches of Australia, boasts of a fine beach and such plentiful amusement & national parks and surfing spots such as Fairy Bower.

To get to Manly Beach from Sydney, you have to ride the ‘Jet Cat’ catamaran or the ferry, your choice. The ride takes about 15 minutes (for Jet Cat) or 30 minutes (for ferry) from the Circular Quay terminal in Sydney.

boardshorts

Today, boardshorts are popular to both sexes. Whether male or female, you would see them strutting along the shoreline wearing this comfortable piece of clothing.

What are really boardshorts and what is so special about them? The fabric of these cool shorts are specially made to dry quickly. These are also light-weight when wet and so, surfers (and the non-surfers) prefer this type of shorts. The types of boardshorts vary. Some are seamless, as the stitching cause itchiness when in contact with the human skin. Some have a different kind of “fly” mechanism, using stretch garters rather than the usual Velcro.

daytona

Daytona is known world wide for its 24-hour endurance races held every year at the Daytona International Speedway in Florida. When those car races are being held, lots of people flock the area for some intense, mean, high-end car overload.

But apart from the Daytona International Speedway, Daytona is known for its beach. It has been branded as “the world’s famous beach” since almost 8,000,000 tourists flock Daytona every year. A wide variety of high-end hotels, motels, condominiums and the like are also found in the area. The tight security in the area also allows tourists to wander and see the beauty of the place, any time of the day.

SMB

The Caribbean area is known for its fantastic beaches, well-preserved marine life (although artificial marine reef are present in some parts of the group of Islands) and delightful tourist spots like the black limestone formations in the Northwest of the Grand Cayman Island known as ‘Hell’ (because locals say that it pretty looks like hell!).

But of all the beaches present in the Island, the Seven Mile beach in the Western edge of the Grand Cayman stands out. It is crescent in shape and it has been voted as “Caribbean’s Best Beach” in the Caribbean Travel and Life Magazine. It is home to some of the magnificent hotels and restaurants of the Island. Loud music and public nudity (compared to the other beaches in the Caribbean Islands) are NOT allowed. Surely, you can bring your family to enjoy this Caribbean delight!

pollute

Pollution is one of the major causes of beach front closures in the United States. It can bring about different harmful microorganisms in the shoreline and can infect children, old people and those with weak immune systems. Mostly, the source of these pollutants are humans themselves, whether in a micro basis like throwing trash on the sea waters, or in a macro basis, like sewage wastes from the factories of some companies.

It is important to remember that the world is round. Whatever you do, however small it may seem, will have an effect to the whole ecosystem. It is about time that we think and act right.

There is nothing more fun than a group activity with friends or family, and why not give picnics a shot? You can prepare your favorite sandwiches or just grab a few chips and dips in the store nearest you if you do not prefer to clean messes afterwards.
